Can I tell you an embarrassing secret?
Whenever I’m working on a new creative project in my Coaching business, I go to a coffee shop, plug my old-school headphones into my computer, and open up [this is mortifying, but I’m trusting you]…
“Ariana Grande Radio” on Pandora.
Not Mozart, not Miles Davis or Bruce Springsteen, or other tunes I normally like to play in the background when I’m working. (I usually don’t even use the site Pandora!)
Why do I do this?
Call it superstition, call it tradition, call it whatever other “—tion” you want to… but I’ve been listening to this upbeat, bubble-gum-pop station ever since I was writing copy for my first fledgling coaching-website back in 2015. It just works.
Why?
It automatically signals to my brain that I’m in creation-mode. (Like one of Pavlov’s dogs drooling at the sound of the dinner bell, my ideas start flowing when Ariana, Katy Perry, and similar peeps are playing).
The upbeat pace & tone keeps me moving forward when I’m dragging my writing-feet (I don’t write with my feet— but you get what I’m saying).
It’s just…what I do; why change the ritual now?

I’ll tell you:
I’m busily tweaking the Sales Page for my upcoming 9-month Mighty Mastermind (you can see the latest version here).
Here’s a little bit about it:
-After years of clients requesting, I’m finally offering my coaching-mastermind as a cohort, where everyone moves through the program together. This will allow my coachees to go deep and become each others' cheerleaders/Board of Directors/support group.
-It’s very limited in size, so members will get plenty of attention (and thus can’t hide from their awesomeness, because we'll all see it!).
-It involves plenty of individual coaching, plus a retreat. And it starts in mid-September.
