Sometimes the thing you're creating isn't a business: sometimes it's the Life You Want. Life Coaching can help with specific life goals, habits, or shifts in your approach to life overall.
Let's get in touch with your inner Compassionate Badass. Many of the people I work with are perfectionists, people-pleasers, or just feeling "stuck." The thing is, you can be a leader in your own life without having to push and elbow your way forward. My role as a life coach is to help you clarify what you want, and get out of your own way while seeking it. We will create a custom action plan together to get real results, and in the coaching process we will cover:
- Goals & intentions (specific or general) that you want to work on,
- Limiting beliefs that may be holding you back,
- Specific strategies customized to your unique strengths and personality,
- and Encouragement and Accountability that comes with having someone in your corner.
While life coaching and therapy do have areas of overlap, it is important to distinguish between the two. As a therapist, I often joke that I "help people turn their sh** into fertilizer," working through the deeper parts of their story. Life coaching is more like taking that fertilizer and using it to cultivate a verdant garden; it's focused on goals and possibilities, while staying mindful of the ways your story factors into helping you flourish.
I've spent the greater part of my life learning what works to help people navigate real, lasting change. As a therapist, life coach, and business coach, I love helping people navigate the path to achieving their goals for a meaningful life. I apply these principles in my own life in the mountains of Asheville, NC, where I'm an outdoorswoman, world-traveler, dog-mama, food-and-wine lover, reader, and coffee-shop connoisseur.
