Relish it, Solopreneur

Perhaps you can relate to this popular meme that’s been circulating recently:

I'm going to keep this post short, because I don't want you to spend the last few days of the year staring at a computer screen.

But maybe, like me, you're doing some reflecting on 2024 as you lounge in your stretchy-pants.

While the Soulful Solopreneur Workbook for Reflection & Renewal resource I've been sharing has a bunch of juicy, deep-dive questions for you & your business (and life), right now I just want to challenge you to do this:

Let your mind float back over the past year and relish the “small things.”

You know, those moments when you found yourself laughing, or feeling at peace, or being surprised by unexpected joy.

They don't have to be earth-shattering, “mountaintop moments” either. They could be:

  • A great show you binge-watched (maybe for the 3rd time).

  • An old friend you reconnected with.

  • A scrumptious, tell-everyone-about-it meal.

  • One of those moments with a client where you thought “I'm a freaking genius at what I do!”

  • An Instagram reel that made you cry with laughter.

  • A book that you couldn't put down.

  • A moment with music (live or on your headphones) that was transporting.

  • Something really interesting or helpful you learned that made your work more interesting/easy/effective.

You've got a brand spanking new year waiting for you soon, solopreneur, but now's the time to relish and savor all that's happened.

To your success,

Jane

p.s. I'd love to hear what moments stood out to you. I read every comment, and I'd enjoy hearing what came to mind.
