The Magic In The Room: (Chocolate + Support = Success)

“You have to do it! It would be so great!" 

“You can totally pull this off, Jane.” 

“Pass the chocolate. And yes, you can do this.”

I was on a masterminding-retreat with some other coaches & therapists last Spring, and had just told them my idea for a 9-month coaching cohort + retreat for solopreneurs.

“I don't know if I could pull off a launch this soon, though. I should probably wait another year."

They were having none of my self-doubt.

But that's what happens in masterminding-retreats.

People challenge and encourage each other. Brain-waves and heart rates sync up, and people feed off each other's creative energy. Ideas flow. “Aha” moments abound.

And now, less than a year later, the Mighty Mastermind I had dreamed of is in full swing, and they're coming to Asheville for our coaching Retreat. I'm literally sitting here at the Chocolate Lounge waiting to greet them. 

I can't wait to actually have them in the room together, to see what magic happens at this retreat.

I'm giddy with excitement. 

Here's the thing:

We need other people. 

There's nothing like running a business to make your inner “stuff” come up; it's vital to have support so
you don't shrink, give up, or give into your doubts. 

Do you have other solopreneurs to bounce ideas off of, and to share support?

Whether you gather some fellow business owners together at your local coffee shop to share ideas, or join my next Mighty Mastermind in September, or get a coach, be sure you have people to tell you “You can do this.”

Ok, back to my hot chocolate and waiting with eager anticipation,
